Golfeyes is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information through our mobile and Apple Watch applications.
A. Location Data: To provide core features like distance measurement and shot tracking, we collect precise GPS location data. This may include background location data if you enable tracking during a round, allowing the app to function even when your device screen is off.
B. Health and Fitness Data (Apple HealthKit): If you grant permission via the Apple Watch app, we may access certain data from the Health app (such as heart rate, steps, and calories burned) to display your fitness metrics during a round. We do not use this data for marketing or advertising.
C. Account & Device Information: We collect your email, name, and device identifiers (Model, OS version) to manage your subscription and optimize app performance.
D. Usage Data: We use anonymous analytics to understand how users interact with the app (e.g., which features are used most).
To provide real-time distance to the green and score tracking.
To maintain your personal round history and statistics.
To process subscriptions and provide customer support.
To improve app performance and fix technical bugs.
We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with third-party service providers (such as map providers or analytics tools) who are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
We implement industry-standard encryption to protect your data. Your personal information is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, unless legal obligations require otherwise.
Location Permissions: You can enable or disable location services at any time via your device settings.
Access and Deletion: You may request a copy of your data or request that we delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below.
Tracking: We respect "Do Not Track" signals and Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.
Your information may be stored and processed in servers located outside of your home country. By using Golfeyes, you consent to the transfer of information to countries that may have different data protection laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.
